Ingredients:
- Preserved dates
- Bacon, thinly sliced
- Nuts
- Olive oil/ butter
- Toothpicks
Preparation:
It is veeery easy. This is an appetizer that is typical of Elche (Alicante) but can be found all over Spain. First, remove the pits from the dates, and place a piece of walnut inside. Then, wrap each date in bacon and poke a toothpick through to keep it in place. Lastly, fry it in a pan (with either butter or oil). Serve hot!!!
